Tea.

After spending no less than one hour whittling away at some free verse that ultimately snapped, I decided to toss that onto the fire and offer instead two Haiku:

Crafting a crimson
bowl where stem-less flowers float:
Lily, Lotus, Rose

* * * * *

Tea steeps – Cinnamon,
Mint, Earl Gray – stirred with a small
spoon. Coffee brews, beeps.
