Facing the Sea

3 Apr

In the photo she

allows me to share, her face

turns toward the sea.

Sea Lion Caves

We watch sea lions

from behind the rail. Splashing.

Feeding. Barking. Loud.

I asked her to turn

away from me, face the sun,

the sea, find her light.

I love the reality in your words…children have a special pull on our hearts…we trudge with fear
